Job description

We are looking for a Shift Leader to lead a team of employees during work and day-to-day activities. Shift Leader duties include handling daily tasks, organizing and performing staff work, overseeing operations, handling issues and ensuring employee and customer satisfaction.

In this position, you will be working closely with our managers to develop employee skills and encourage them to advance in the company. We are seeking a person who is flexible and can handle a wide range of situations. A good leadership skill set is important to ensure the company’s success. Additionally, you should have strong people skills to motivate team members and a high level of self-motivation to ensure that you are able to start on time and complete scheduled tasks. Competent project management skills are essential as you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations.

Responsibilities:

*Assist the store manager with supervising and coordinating daily store employees. *Assist with implementation and maintenance of company policies and procedures. *Monitor cash drawer and notify manager of any discrepancies in the register. *Ensure preparedness of all necessary materials (food, clean tables etc.) for each shift. *Supervise store operations during work hours to ensure proper inventory control, product quality, customer experience and company money-saving principles. *Supervise orders and make sure that team is performing duties according to plan. *Greet guests upon entering the store.

Who you are:

*6 months of experience working in restaurant or retail where you have led shifts and motivated employees to do great work *Ability to work either full or part-time hours, including weekends and holidays (we are flexible with schedules and can work around your needs)

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $12.00 - $14.00/hour.
